    PracticeFit Ops Network

For the people running the practice.

A free peer network for practice managers, PCN managers, federation leads, ops directors and clinicians with an ops portfolio. Run by people who've held the role.

No fee. No selling. No coaching framing. Just peers, useful kit, and somewhere to think out loud about the decisions only managers carry.

    Who it's for

Anyone holding operational leadership in primary care.

    Practice managers & deputies
    PCN & federation managers
    Ops directors & business leads
    Clinicians with an ops hat

    What you get

Built around what the role actually asks of you.

    Built around the manager remit

Governance, CQC, finance, workforce, partner relationships, PCN delivery. The decisions that sit with you, talked through with people who carry the same ones.

A peer network, not a training course

Other managers running other practices and PCNs. Compare approaches, sense-check a decision, see how someone else handled the same situation.

Templates and frameworks you can use this week

Policies, SOPs, CQC packs, board papers, governance frameworks. Shared between members, kept current.

A place to ask the harder questions

Away from your partners, your ICB and your team. Just peers in the same role, ready to think it through with you.

    Ops vs Admin

Two tracks, one hub. Pick the one that matches your day.

Same members space. Two parallel tracks so the resources, discussions and events stay relevant to your role. Sit across both? Sign up for both — no extra cost, no duplication.

    Honest answers

    Before you sign up.

Is this only for practice managers?

No. It's for anyone holding operational leadership in primary care — practice managers, deputies, PCN managers, federation leads, ops directors, and clinicians who carry an ops portfolio.

How is this different from the Admin Network?

Same members space, two tracks. The Ops Network is about running the practice — the decisions, governance and delivery that sit with managers. The Admin Network is about running the day — the phones, the inbox, the workflow. You can join one or both.

I sit across both — should I sign up for both tracks?

Yes, and there's no extra cost or duplicated inbox for doing so. Pick "Both tracks" at signup (or tick the second track later from your profile). You'll appear in both directories with your role visible, so peers know which hat you're wearing in a given conversation.

If I join both, what will I actually see?

One members space, with everything tagged. Resources and discussions carry an "Ops", "Admin" or "Both" tag, and the filter buttons let you flip between tracks or view everything together. Events sit on a single calendar — sessions show their audience tag so you can pick what's useful. Nothing is hidden behind a second login.

    Is it actually free?

Yes. No membership fee, no upsell, no hidden tiers. Paid programmes exist for embedded delivery, but the network sits separately from that.

How quickly do I get access?

Straight away. Fill in the form, set a password, and you're in.

Can I bring my deputy or a PCN colleague?

Please do. The more managers in the network, the more useful the answers get for everyone.

The role is heavy enough. Finding the right peers shouldn't be.

Free. Instant access. Useful from day one.
