    PracticeFit Admin Network

For the people running the day in primary care.

A free peer network for everyone in a UK general practice admin role — reception, care navigation, secretarial, coding, summarising, workflow. Built by people who've done the job.

No fee. No selling. No coaching framing. Just peers, useful kit, and somewhere to land after a hard day.

    Who it's for

Every admin role in the practice. None of them an afterthought.

    Reception & care navigation
    Admin & workflow
    Medical secretaries
    Summarisers & coders

    What you get

Built around what the job actually asks of you.

Built around the day, not the org chart

Reception, care navigation, secretarial, coding, summarising, workflow. The roles that absorb the most pressure and rarely get the airtime.

A peer network, not a training course

People doing your job in other practices. Compare scripts, share what worked with a difficult call, swap workflow tricks.

Practical kit you can use this week

Templates, scripts, signposting prompts, code lists, SOPs. Shared between members, kept current.

A place to ask the harder questions

Away from your PM, the partners and the patient in front of you. Just peers in the same role, who get it.

    Ops vs Admin

Two tracks, one hub. Pick the one that matches your day.

Same members space. Two parallel tracks so the resources, discussions and events stay relevant to your role. Sit across both? Sign up for both — no extra cost, no duplication.

    Honest answers

    Before you sign up.

    Is this only for reception?

No. It's for any primary care admin role below practice manager — reception, care navigators, secretaries, summarisers, coders, workflow admins, document handlers.

How is this different from the Ops Network?

Same members space, two tracks. The Admin Network is about running the day — the phones, the inbox, the workflow. The Ops Network is about running the practice — the decisions, governance and delivery that sit with managers. You can join one or both.

I sit across both — should I sign up for both tracks?

Yes, and there's no extra cost or duplicated inbox for doing so. Pick "Both tracks" at signup (or tick the second track later from your profile). You'll appear in both directories with your role visible, so peers know which hat you're wearing in a given conversation.

If I join both, what will I actually see?

One members space, with everything tagged. Resources and discussions carry an "Ops", "Admin" or "Both" tag, and the filter buttons let you flip between tracks or view everything together. Events sit on a single calendar — sessions show their audience tag so you can pick what's useful. Nothing is hidden behind a second login.

    Is it actually free?

Yes. No membership fee, no upsell, no hidden tiers.

Does my practice need to sign anything off?

No. You sign up as an individual. We only ask for your role and practice so the directory stays useful.

    Can my whole team join?

Please do. The more admin colleagues in the network, the more useful the answers get for everyone.

Your job matters. So do peers who know that.

Free. Instant access. Useful from your next shift.
